In the year 2006 there was a sound of Mika's guitar at the industrial
area of Joensuu, North Karelia, Finland. Then Maiju came with her
voice. First year as a band was making songs and finding the voice that
is to be. Lyrics span over experiences in life: pain, fear, shame,
hate, even some love, are to be seen through the tears. Sights of Tears
was born.

At november 2007 band became alive at MySpace. Today over 70 000
visitors world wide have found us! Melodic heavy metal from Finnish
countryside have found it's place even at the other end of the world.

2008 band did few gigs at local festivals and bars and even managed to
get to studio with great support from Joensuun Popmuusikot. At july
local radio station OiFM did an interview with the band and
fresh-from-the-owen demo's song Lifelong Walls won channel's Juke Box
Jury -competition. And what could be better way to celebrate this than
throw a gig at bar La Barre? At the same time merchandise was also
started: first t-shirts and hoodies.

January 2009 Sights Of Tears record new songs. February we made first music video.

New Year 2010 and new winds. The change does not always take place as fast as hurricane.
But the change takes place.

Feel the pain of Finnish winter, snow, coldness and ice.
